Investment-Friendly Municipality
A long-term pro-investment policy should be the foundation of the development strategy for every local government. Considering the share of local government in individual taxes, the most effective way to increase revenues is by attracting new production or service investments to the municipality, which then increase property tax revenues.

The project entitled "Investment-Friendly Municipality" is being implemented jointly by the Krakow Technology Park, the Małopolska Region and the Polish Development Bank, and will run from 2024 to 2025. It focuses on empowering local government units through various activities, including training, study visits, advisory services, and promotional support. These initiatives are designed to systematize services and enhance cooperation between local governments and entrepreneurs. We encourage local governments from the Małopolska Region to participate.
Municipalities that meet the specified project criteria will receive the "Investment-Friendly Municipality" certificate and will also be eligible to participate in a competition. In this competition, select municipalities can win vouchers for economic promotion activities in amounts of 25,000, 15,000, or 10,000 PLN. Participation in the project is free of charge.
