Business in Małopolska. Together for Future
The “Business in Małopolska. Together for Future” project is a key initiative supporting the internationalisation of companies and attracting investment to the region. Its objective is to create a coherent support system for businesses while encouraging investors to locate their projects in Małopolska. The project is implemented in partnership by three institutions: Małopolska Regional Development Agency (MARR S.A.), Kraków Technology Park (KPT Sp. z o.o.), and the Małopolska Region (Marshal’s Office of the Małopolska Region).

ABOUT THE PROJECT
The project responds to the needs of businesses by providing comprehensive access to information and support. It builds on the activities of the Business in Małopolska Centre, which has been supporting companies in the region since 2009. Within the project, partner institutions collaborate to more effectively promote exports and attract investment.
Main objectives:
- promoting Małopolska’s economic offer
- strengthening cooperation between business support institutions
- developing information tools for companies
The project is co-financed by the European Union under the European Funds for Małopolska 2021–2027 regional programme.
KEY ACTIVITIES
The project includes three main components:
- Coordination of institutions supporting internationalisation and investment
- development of a comprehensive database of support opportunities for businesses
- coordination of cooperation between regional institutions, including recommendations to improve communication and collaboration, implementation of a unified “Business in Małopolska” visual identity system, and regular meetings and knowledge exchange
- Information services for businesses
- establishment of an information point for companies
- access to an international business contacts database
- organisation of investor visits and presentation of the region’s economic potential
- development of a guide to Małopolska’s economy
- social media campaign promoting the region’s economic potential
- Information events
- organisation of regular information events in Kraków and across Małopolska (with expert participation)
- promotion of available support instruments for businesses (investment and internationalisation)
WHO BENEFITS FROM THE PROJECT?
The project is addressed to micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) operating in Małopolska. It also supports investors planning to establish or expand their business in the region.
PROJECT OBJECTIVES
- coordination of the internationalisation process of companies and investment attraction to Małopolska
- integration of institutions offering support to SMEs
- ensuring a consistent communication of the region’s economic offer
- development of coherent programmes and information activities supporting businesses
EXPECTED RESULTS
- support for 600 companies:
- 72 micro enterprises
- 228 small enterprises
- 300 medium-sized enterprises
- organisation of 46 information events
- support for 50 investors
