The company has decided to locate its new office in Krakow/Poland. Its opening is scheduled for July 2021.
AstraZeneca has been associated with Poland for thirty years. The company regularly invests and increases its involvement, especially in the field of research and development. The authorities of the company decided to go a step further and decided to open a second office in Poland, this time Kraków - the capital of the Małopolska region. Its employees will focus on the latest computer systems used during clinical trials in the area of trial management or clinical data collection, as well as managing global clinical trials.

Krakow is a perfect location for such an investment - it's one of the leading academic centres in the country, the business centre of southern Poland and the home of many medical and biotech start-ups, as well as those operating in the fields of IT, AI and data management," stresses Barbara Kozierkiewicz, Vice-President of the Board of AstraZeneca Pharma Poland.
The new company's office will be located in the vicinity of AGH University of Science and Technology.
