Finnish IT company TietoEVRY will transform in the next few months its Krakow office into a banking solutions centre, where as many as 200 programmers will find work. Thanks to this investment the number of the company's employees in Poland will exceed one thousand.

- There is a reason why we have chosen Krakow as the location for our banking solutions centre. It is a city that combines a competitive market of well-educated programmers with an advanced financial sector. It is also important that the city effectively attracts skilled workers from abroad. If we maintain the current development dynamics, our branch may soon become the technological centre of banking in Europe - said Petr Lukasik from TietoEVRY.

The Krakow branch of TietoEVRY will specialize in creating advanced IT solutions for the financial sector, especially for demanding markets in Scandinavia.

- Krakow programmers will have a chance to work on pro-ecological solutions based on financial instruments in the area of so called green funds, i.e. green finance. The company's technologies are also used to fight smog, develop ecological ways of energy storage or visual mapping of air quality in real time - the company communicates.

TietoEVRY also encourages recruitment through an offer that includes language courses for employees, hackathons, training budgets and other forms of integration, in addition to standard medical and sports packages, of course. Candidates from other cities can also count on a relocation package after passing the recruitment process.
