An American company dealing with, among other things, nuclear energy and nuclear technologies will open its office in Zabłocie. To start, the company is expected to hire 150 highly skilled employees to support the global Westinghouse organisation.
This is another investment of the company in the Polish energy industry. Westinghouse Electric Company will open a Global Shared Services Centre in the Zabłocie Business Park B office complex in August 2021.
To begin with, the company is expected to hire 150 highly qualified employees to support Westinghouse's global organisation.

As presented by the company, the announcement of the Global Shared Services Centre in Krakow is one of the milestones strengthening Westinghouse's commitment to a carbon-free future for Poland. These include the finalisation of an intergovernmental agreement between Poland and the United States on cooperation for the implementation of the nuclear power programme, as well as Patrick Fragman's recent meeting with Secretary of State in the Chancellery of the Prime Minister and Strategic Energy Infrastructure Plenipotentiary Piotr Naimski.
