British company Harvey Nash Technology is opening a technology centre in Kraków, specialising in robotisation and automation of business processes. Until now, the company had such centres only in Vietnam. The investment in Poland was supported by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH).

NashTech is part of Harvey Nash Group. The company specializes in modern technologies and provides advanced business solutions for companies.

Harvey Nash Group is a global provider of professional technology services in three key areas: technology recruitment, technology solutions and executive search. Harvey Nash Technology, a Polish company of the Harvey Nash Group specialising in IT recruitment and contracting, is present on the market since 2013. We are proud to support NashTech in establishing a service delivery centre in Krakow. We are confident that its creation will bring significant benefits to both current and future clients of the company - says Damian Uzarek, Director of Polish branch of Harvey Nash.

NashTech, with seven offices worldwide, has two business service centres located in Vietnam. Poland will be the third location.

One of the trends that has been noticeable in recent months is the so-called nearshoring of business processes. Companies are resigning from outsourcing these most advanced and key functions for business stability to Asian countries, in favour of locating them in more stable regions. Increasingly, Poland is becoming a destination country for such investments, attracting investors with its highly qualified employees, creativity and efficiency. We are glad that we could help in locating NashTech investments in Poland," says Jan Kamoji-Czapiński, PAIH Investment Centre Director.

Innovation at a price

The Kraków branch will focus on robotisation and automation of business processes of the company's customers. Ultimately, the centre in Małopolska will employ several dozen people. According to NashTech, the investment in Poland will allow them to attract more European clients.

- We have verified potential locations and Poland turned out to be a clear leader. Krakow is a proven location for this type of investments, has specialized staff and, what is equally important, guarantees high quality of life for our employees. We are glad that the new centre will be located here - says Phill Went, Delivery Director at NashTech.

People employed in Kraków will initially work remotely, but there are plans to open a separate office. The recruitment is to be supported by the company's sister organization - Harvey Nash, already based in Poland.

- This investment is an important moment for NashTech. Our activity is to provide our clients with the best quality technological solutions to support their businesses. Our presence in Poland will enable the company to operate even more effectively," says Nick Lonsdale, CEO of NashTech.

Direction Poland

NashTech IT projects are carried out all over the world. Thanks to the support of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency, after Vietnam the next strategic centre of the company will be Poland. The new technology centre is proof that koronawirus has not stopped the investment, and the phenomenon of nearshoring of even the most advanced business processes is becoming a global trend. Investors see potential in Poland.
