Business in Małopolska Centre - a partner of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency operating the integrated system of investor service (one-stop-shop) involving Małopolska Regional Development Agency SA, Małopolska Province, Kraków Technology Park.

The measures aimed at comprehensive development of an investment offer for the regions of Małopolska and Kraków are taken at one place. The Centre's main task is to assist both foreign and domestic investors interested in making new investments in Małopolska and to support export and foreign expansion of enterprises operating in the region.

The Centre is a source of up-to-date data on the region's economy, it has the most extensive base of development land in Małopolska and supports entrepreneurial development in the region, while successfully building a positive image of the Polish companies abroad. Additionally, it promotes business of the region and holds knowledge and experience to assist Małopolska entrepreneurs in succeeding on foreign markets.

CeBiM's investor service consists mainly in development of an offer including the suggestions concerning investment locations, information on business environment, labour costs, possibility to acquire employees or use the investment or entrepreneurship support funds. CeBiM provides access to the most extensive base of investment real estate in the region and a database of export enterprises and foreign counterparties.

The scope of Małopolska Province's activities includes carrying out provincial public tasks not reserved by the statutes to competencies of government administration authorities. Małopolska Province defines the directions of an economic policy while promoting the economic development of the Region. The Treasury and Economy Department play a considerable role in this area of provincial competences. Małopolska Province defines the directions of an economic policy, assists domestic and foreign investors interested in undertaking economic activity in the region, coordinates activities aimed at internationalisation of the regional economy, with focus on export development, enhances economic promotion of Małopolska, supports and develops innovativeness, activities of start-ups and is responsible for knowledge transfer in the region.


 

MARR

Małopolska Regional Development Agency SA is one of the largest institutions of this type in Poland. It focuses on tasks necessary to drive positive changes in the regional environment, including: economic restructuring, land use, implementing EU programs, collaborating with local governments, providing investment service, supporting business initiatives, maintaining international cooperation and creating positive image of Malopolska in Europe and worldwide. MARR is a major regional institution, which provides services in the management of grants awarded to SMEs (as a Regional Financing Institution). The Agency has developed its own financial instruments to support the business sector. It constitutes a specialized partner institution for regional and local governments, non-governmental organizations and representatives of various professional groups and foreign business partners in undertaking initiatives beneficial for the development of Małopolska.
