The LifeScience Krakow cluster was established in 2006 as a cooperation network of institutions and companies from the macro-region of Southern Poland, which combined common goals and vision of the development of the ecosystem of innovation in the field of biotechnology and life science. Its overarching goal is to create a network of cooperation between companies and organizations with the largest market potential in Poland in the area of, among others the medical, cosmetic and biotechnology sectors and facilitating their scientific cooperation with the global LifeScience market. Tasks: creating a cooperation network in the area of Life Science, enabling effective connection and use of the existing potential of people, enterprises, universities, research units, business environment institutions and local and regional authorities, supporting entrepreneurship and innovation in the field of life science and creating conditions for effective commercialization of research and development
